DAY 1: Leave Cusco city to Patabamba village in a private bus at 8 am (o'clock), on the route we will observe some ruins as the Archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, the handicraft market of Ccorao, the viewpoint toward the Sacred Valley of the Inca and finally the town of Patabamba.
To our arrival we will have a friendly reception by the villagers; we will rest for a moment while our guide explains the main aspects of the town. Then we will visit the House of the Association Aniceto Marcachea, which is devoted entirely to the Iconographic rescue of the Andean Weavings of the town, then we will have a great Welcoming Lunch. After our lunch we go toward our camp place in Hornomoq'o and will visit the viewpoint of Cconchapata. At night we will have our dinner in the camping site.
DAY 2: Early in the morning we will enjoy our wake up tea in our tents, then after getting ready, we will have a healthy typical breakfast. And we will participate in our first trek nearby to the town to carry out the Qorahuñuy that is the gathering of different plants which are used as much as medicinal plants as tints for the weavings, this activity is at least two hours and we will be being attended by the residents. After collecting these plants we will observe their use in a demonstration of coloring weavings. Late we will have our lunch in the camping where we’ll rest. In the afternoon after we rested our tour guide will take us again toward the house of the textile association to explain to us the textile iconography of the Andean Weavings and will see a didactic video of the Andean Customs and ancient technique for weaving.
After the guided class we will rest and enjoy another typical dinner in the same place. After resting and listened the musical show we will go toward our camp to rest and sleep.
DAY 3:Early in the morning we will have a healthy typical breakfast, then we will package all for our last ethnic activity. Approximately at 8am (o'clock) we will ascent to the hill Rupaska Orqo (hill or mountain that it burns), this ascent activity should be carried out in two groups one conformed by women and another by males, in two lines, after less half hour of walk we will meet again in the place called Kunka Waylla (spring or fount - neck), where we will have a snack of Andean food. Then we will continue the ascent until the summit of the mountain where we will have a great reception with Chicha and Coca Leaves that are part of the ritual ceremony that we will make at the summit. Later we are invited to sit down for the Andean shaman, and our tour guide will translate all he will order as well as the describing the ritual ceremony that also contains the gratefulness to the Mother Earth (Pachamama). After rituals we will have our lunch in the same place enjoying the nearby landscape and good company of the villagers. Finishing our lunch and rest we will descend toward the Town, where the other part of villagers wait for us to say good bye with typical gifts to finish this great tour and late we will take our private bus to return to Cusco.
